I didn't think much of the place when our group arrived but it grew on me. The place is clean, the owners were very nice and accommodating. The cleaning staff... read more was thorough and we did not need to ask for anything. The only thing that you should be aware of, is the showers are very small but it's funny how it did not seem to bother me as much as when I first arrived.
It is in a great location to get around New Hampshire and enjoy the great roads.
And because of the positives, I am strongly considering to reserve some time in the fall when we go back to the area.
June 18, 2017Any way we stayed there 3years ago and the lady said she was selling the p, lace. We came back this year and now she seems to be selling the... read more place again. It is run down, she is nice at first. Ge ready for an unstable stay if you are there for more than a day, The toilets clog all the time, the water out of the sinkis polluted by old pipes. The pool is dirty and if you want privacy forget about it. The people that clean the rooms are less then geniune as we found stuff missing from our room. Anyway go there at your own risk. A $30 place being charged $100 +. I am actually telling the truth!
July 20, 2019This was our first time staying in a cabin up north! We loved it. Very clean & comfy..it had everything we needed after a long day of snowmobiling (trails were... read more literally right across the street!!!) See pic attached.
We got up, showered & went across the street to the gas station (which has a huge store with anything you could need...clothing, food, hardware, parts for sleds), after filling the snowmobiles with gas we hit the trails. The cabins are about 1 minute from the trail.
Owners are amazing! We will definitely be staying again in a couple weeks! Perfect for a weekend getaway! We highly recommend it.

These cabins are nice. The location was great to do the Cog Railway in the morning. The front screened in porch was nice and I would have enjoyed it had... read more we been there longer. The hotel provided info on places to eat in the area which was nice. I appreciated the staff for going to trim our lights on when we arrived after dark so we could find the cabin. The bathroom was small but the rest was good size. Bit older but still pleasant.
October 1, 2022Nice comfortable & relaxing place to stay for visits to the areas theme parks. We had a two bedroom cottage which was a little dated but was clean and had... read more contained everything needed for both short and long stays. Nice pool and playground areas for the kids. Grill, fire pits and picnic tables if you decided to cook in. Only suggestion might be sun blocking drapes or shades on the windows. Bedrooms got pretty bright at sun up. Also, the cottage advertised two TV's but had only one in the living room. All in all, i do recommend the Carroll as a reasonably priced and comfortable place to stay, especially if traveling with children. More
June 26, 2019The property had rustic charm and was clean. However, the cottage where we stayed was run down and dated and hot water was not readily available. After about 5... read more minutes of running the water, as the sign in the bathroom suggests, the water was still cold. We would have stayed but no hot water is a deal breaker!
