We have stayed at this motel twice in 2021. Our room was clean and comfortable. Our room had two beds, a table with 2 chairs, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, TV... read more and the bathroom had a shower. This his motel is close to Bretton Woods. The owner pleasantly greeted us on our arrival.
February 27, 2021Stayed as a family for 2 nights in #15 and enjoyed it very much. We loved how close it is to all kinds of activities in the White Mountains. A... read more number of good hikes are close by, and Santa's Village is only 20 minutes away. The cottage is small and just so cute. We LOVED the screened porches. The general store across the street is perfect for all the things that you will surely forget. Monroe's down the street is a great place for breakfast or lunch, and even the famous Polly's Pancake Parlor isn't too far of a ride if you want to head out for a nice drive to Sugar Hill. It's nice to have all the windows open in the cabin, and the neighbors in close proximity around us were all very respectful with the noise at night. My kids loved the playground area, and if we'd had more time, would have loved the pool too. Would definitely go back.
June 25, 2017The cabin was very clean. Because the weather was cold and rainy during the majority of our stay, we were unable to use the enclosed porch area of the... read more cabin. There sleeping area of the cabin was tiny and there was a very small area to hang some clothes and nowhere to put our suitcases. There were 2 beds, but if we had four people, our clothes would have had to go out on the porch. There was one chair inside and we brought a plastic chair in from the porch and used a tv tray for a table which allowed no room to move around. Getting to the small fridge and cupboard was a challenge. We were advised that we needed to let the water run "awhile" to get warm water to the cabin because the pipes ran underground. We had to let it run for at least 5 minutes to get to lukewarm, so face and handwashing were cold water only. We did have to let it run at least that long to get a shower in, but then the water was warm and full until someone else must have turned on their water and the pressure decreased to half.
The wall unit heater either blasted you out because the room was so small or you shivered while you took a break from the heat.
The location of the cabins are excellent and I think it would be a much different story if we had visited in the summer when the weather is warm and the pool is open. We had easy access to the Cog Railway up Mt. Washington which was one of our objectives. We also had easy access to the Franconia Notch State Park, Crawford Notch, and the abundance of waterfalls and covered bridges. We arrived on Tuesday and found out that there are very few restaurants in the area that are open on Tuesday during this time of year after calling about 5 or 6 to check. I would not come back again in October.

It is run down, she is nice at first. Ge ready for an unstable stay if you are there for more than a day, The toilets clog all the time, the water out of the sinkis polluted by old pipes.
