July 6, 2018Yet another year has come and gone for us and our stay at this Motel and Cottages , under new management and still getting there feet wet . The cottages... read more are still in good shape , pool was open , and in this environment of Carona Virus it was nice to see how well the cottages were cleaned prior to our arrival . The new owners are friendly and attentive , I hope that bussiness picks up for them ,after all they had just purchased this property and then had to close in March 2020 until July that’s a lot of income lost . I’ve already made my reservation for next year . Enjoy folks got to love the white mountains !!! More
August 27, 2020These cabins are nice. The location was great to do the Cog Railway in the morning. The front screened in porch was nice and I would have enjoyed it had... read more we been there longer. The hotel provided info on places to eat in the area which was nice. I appreciated the staff for going to trim our lights on when we arrived after dark so we could find the cabin. The bathroom was small but the rest was good size. Bit older but still pleasant.

Charlie, Jyoti, and Avi were wonderful hosts while our family stayed there recently. The kids had a great time playing together and they took care of everything that we needed.... read more Very reasonable rates and we’ll definitely be staying there again! More
May 15, 2022The cabin was very clean. Because the weather was cold and rainy during the majority of our stay, we were unable to use the enclosed porch area of the... read more cabin. There sleeping area of the cabin was tiny and there was a very small area to hang some clothes and nowhere to put our suitcases. There were 2 beds, but if we had four people, our clothes would have had to go out on the porch. There was one chair inside and we brought a plastic chair in from the porch and used a tv tray for a table which allowed no room to move around. Getting to the small fridge and cupboard was a challenge. We were advised that we needed to let the water run "awhile" to get warm water to the cabin because the pipes ran underground. We had to let it run for at least 5 minutes to get to lukewarm, so face and handwashing were cold water only. We did have to let it run at least that long to get a shower in, but then the water was warm and full until someone else must have turned on their water and the pressure decreased to half.
The wall unit heater either blasted you out because the room was so small or you shivered while you took a break from the heat.
The location of the cabins are excellent and I think it would be a much different story if we had visited in the summer when the weather is warm and the pool is open. We had easy access to the Cog Railway up Mt. Washington which was one of our objectives. We also had easy access to the Franconia Notch State Park, Crawford Notch, and the abundance of waterfalls and covered bridges. We arrived on Tuesday and found out that there are very few restaurants in the area that are open on Tuesday during this time of year after calling about 5 or 6 to check. I would not come back again in October.
October 10, 2018I didn't think much of the place when our group arrived but it grew on me. The place is clean, the owners were very nice and accommodating. The cleaning staff... read more was thorough and we did not need to ask for anything. The only thing that you should be aware of, is the showers are very small but it's funny how it did not seem to bother me as much as when I first arrived.
It is in a great location to get around New Hampshire and enjoy the great roads.
And because of the positives, I am strongly considering to reserve some time in the fall when we go back to the area.
